Patio season is here, and it’s time to start thinking about what your outdoor space is going to look like to ensure you get the most out of your summer. Check out our Pinterest board titled summer inspiration for more on trend summer designs. Just as we do with clothing and home décor, we want our outdoor spaces to stand out, look on trend, and last us a few seasons.
That being said keep in mind the furniture you choose becomes one of the most important aspects of your space. It not only adds function to a space but it also adds style and personality. As we all know summer in Canada is short enough, so have fun with your outdoor space. Make it inviting, somewhere where you and your family and friends want to hangout. While keeping a theme and style in mind you also have to take into account your furniture’s ability to withstand rain, wind, and sun exposure. A few materials that come to mind are metal, wicker and teak. You may also want to think of comfort, durability and value. Below are a few theme ideas to help you get started!

Sit back and enjoy the calming coastal. This style is typically defined by comfort and relaxation. Combining warm blues, brown wicker pieces, comfortable seating and just the right lighting. A beautiful place to unwind and relax with family and friends, or on your own with the perfect book.
